As part of its continuing effort to establish the health benefits of pastries and coffee, Blather reported recently on the campaign to roll out a healthy doughnut. Now AP reports that industry behemoth Krispy Kreme is getting into the game. The Motley Fool casts a jaundiced eye on the idea.
Ugh, you've gotta be kidding! When will this low-carb nightmare be over? It's not the Krispy Kremes that are making us fat--it's our inability to recognize the value of moderation and our refusal to walk anywhere more than two blocks away.

What's next? Low calorie crack cocaine?
Either eat the real stuff or don't. The reason this country is full of fat people is because they eat low-calorie stuff, but stuff their faces with it.
I'm sick of all these low-carb fast food ice cream doughnut changes. And I can't stand diet creamcheese either.
